Panhala fort had three glorious gates, namely Teen Darwaza, Char Darwaza and Wagh Darwaza. The main structure of the fort included Andhar Bavadi, Ambarkhana, Sajja Kothi , Kalavanticha mahal. Andhar Bavadi is a hidden well; it was the main source of water of the area. It is a three storied well having staircase. There are hidden ways to escape inside this well. Ambarkhana is a collection of granaries. Sajja kohti and Kalavaticha Mahal are buildings built in Bijapur architectural style.
